 They are pretty strong colours but I wasn't thinking too much and just having fun. You, of course, could do a much lighter background. This is what I love about cardmaking, you could make the same cards but totally different technique even with watercolor or any other medium.

I used the Sunkissed and Caramel Toffee inks for the background.

Hi All, 

Today card is using products from Emma Puenktchen 

 

 

When you purchase this image, it comes with a few different styles of the one image. This set comes with singular bunnies and images of them together. Coloured and uncoloured. This particular one is a aquarell one. Which is like the watercolour version. It has more shading then the others. I have add a little deeper shadow, as I like the contrast.

So there is an image for all levels and any colouring medium that is your jam.

I used the grey for shadowing the scallops and the left side of the bunnies. Giving the idea that the light source is on the top right.

Browns on the bunny were again applied on the left hand side.

 

I used the Dark Red to bring out more of the hearts

I have been so sick, this isn't a woe is me post but more letting you all know I haven't completely disappeared and videos will be back hopefully soon. But I will talk later about that and will do a video soon. Just trying to get my creative juices going again.

 

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)

I have had a long battle with Asthma and 3 colds and 3 chest infections my lungs were a bit exhausted. Just when I hoped to get going again  off I go again. On top of that I had the Auction for the house and if you have ever done that... fun.. activity you would know, it is soo taxing.

Anywho, I was recently crafting with friends to get the old crafty feelings going. One had a roll of double sided tape on the table when I made this and it give me a prefect border around the image. When you purchase the image it has a pink circle around the elephant. I wanted to enhance it slightly and make it more noticeable.

With a careful hand, I lightly traced around the drawn line after rubbing most of it out so it wasn't as visible.  This also means I can use an eraser to light line if needed. Then around the pink line to make a frame. It isn't prefect but it is handmade not Hallmark.

I had a "light-source" from the top right so on the inside top right I applied some shadow and to the left side of the elephant as he would be providing a cast shadow. This gives some added dimension to our image.

Today card is using products from Paper Rose using the Vintage Roses Collection.
