Moving Along With The Times Challenge Blog | Use Your Favourite

Hi All,

It is a new month and that means there is a new challenge over on the Moving Along With The Times Blog and today's card is using products from Paper Rose.

The theme is "Use Your Favourite" which I actually found it hard to pick my favourite. However, I do really love the Beautiful Mandala from Paper Rose, now retired unfortunately.

My all time Favourite would have to be the "Wizard" from Stampinbella. I have coloured him once and honestly I loved how he came out I never coloured him again! I suppose silly really. You know I can never bring myself to give the card away!

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)
Feature Panel Size 9.7 x 14.1cm (3 9/16 x 5 5/16)

I started with gold Embossing the Mandala stamp. I roughly applied watercolor over the stamp allowing it to dry in between applications and definitely after applying the shimmer paint.

Picking out areas inside and around the outside, this allows the image to pop along with Gel Pen to bring the image out from the background.

Product List Below

Paper Rose Beautiful Mandala (retired)

Watercolour paints - Gansai Tambi
Purple, Cobalt Violet and Cherry Blossom Pink
Gem Violet (Shimmery)

Stampin Up Diamontes

Polychromo Pencils
Walnut Brown, Magenta and Manganese Violet.

Gel Pen

That is all from me today. Thank you for your time.

Moving Along With The Times Challenge Blog | One or More Butterflies

Hi All,

Today's card is using products from Darkroom Door. It is a new month and the Challenge for you this month is One or More Butterflies over on the Moving Along With The Times Blog

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)
Feature Panel Size 9.5 x 14cm (3 3/4 x 5 1/2)

I must admit it is nice to have Darkroom Door back again. Yes, it isn't the original owner (who sadly passed away) but it is nice to see another stamp company surviving in these hard times for the craft industry.

This card is fairly simple in design. I have stamped three different stamps and rotated the angle that I stamped them at. This will make it more random and natural. I added the bees to fill in gaps and for fun. They were a nice cute size.

Product List Below
Hero Arts May Cardmaking Kit 2025- Bee- these kits have changed since I got them. They don't sell off the old kits but I have linked where you can subscribe.
Clear Drops from my stash
Stardust Stickles

Polychromo pencils
Shadow - Cold Grey V234 and Cold Grey III 232
Bees - Dark Chrome Yellow 109 and Cadmium Yellow 107
Buterflies - Magenta 133 and Helloblue Reddish 151

Upload your card to the blog for a little bit of fun.

That is all from me today. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your time.

Moving Along With The Times | Floral

Hi All,

Today's card is using products from Altenew. This month's theme is "Floral" on the blog Moving Along With The Times and who else does floral better than Altenew.

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)
Feature Panel Size 9.3 x 13.7cm (3 5/8 x 5 3/8)
Matt 10 x 14.4cm (3 7/8 x 5 9/16)

Product List Below

Leaves - Moss
Flower Centres - Paper Bag

I stamped and used 3 flower images and cut off any areas that were coming off the edge of the cardstock. These pieces were used to fill in other areas of the card panel. All flowers were raised up with foam tape. The sentiment shadow was cut out 3 times and layered up to give more dimension as it would of been much harder to apply foam tape and still have it higher than the flowers again.

I hope you join in on this months challenge. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Thank you for your time.
