Teachers Pet

Today I have a card for the My Favourite Things Guest Design Team.

I was going to enter this card for the Sketch challenge too but I left it abit late and then my computer decided to have issues with uploading the image. Only to come back today to find it there about 3 times! Oh Well! lol.

This card is called Simply The Best. It is nice to hear how much you appreciate someone, every now and then. Teachers do alot of extra things for our kids everyday.

The image of is My Favourite things Pure  Innocence- Blooming Good Day. I used DCWV paper - The Lace and Linen stack. Mini Tabs Quartet and Just the Ticket stamp set and Die.
Dress is paper pieced with the DCWV stack. Coloured with Copics E0000, E000, R20, E40, 41, 43, 47, G85, 94, 99.
I sponged the edges with Spun Sugar and Antique Linen Distress Inks and a little bit of Early Espresso on the ticket. The little ticket is propped up on one side by Zots and glued the other side. Ribbon is by Stampin up Early Espresso and a little bit of bling because the world isn't right without abit of bling!

So what do you think??

I just realised I haven't posted this card yet. How could I miss it. A gorgeous lady left my gym last year and I made her a card. She never did send me a pic of her and the card..... ;)
Stamp Magnolia including sentiment. Papers are SU designer series.

A quick Hello

One of my boys had a birthday last month and another is having one on Easter Sunday.

My Grandmother sent them both cards and some money in it. She is getting abit older and it is hard to keep an ASD child's attention at the best of times. so I made this card to say hello and Thanks.

The set is by Darkroom Door Whimical Words. I coloured it with copics E31,BG000, BG01,BG05,BV000 and BV00
Colour isn't the worlds best photographed but he has a lovely purple on his belly abit deeper than shown.

I have one other card for you today, so far.

We have started our range of 40th birthday parties this year. First was my husbands birthday and now a friends'.

I struggled with this one abit. nothing seemed to go quite right. In the end this was the final result.
She is, of course, a little Magnolia girl coloured with copics. Papers are from Lost and Found- Market Street and they are really gorgeous. Tim Holtz Elegant Flourishes. Some Vanilla Seam Binding, My Favourite Things Just the ticket stamps and die and some flowers of course and bling.
