Melbourne Paperific

I am stuffed!! Today I was in Melbourne Showgrounds for the Melbourne Paperific Show. Gee I love doing the shows,.exhausting, long but soo much fun. I worked in a different stand today "Catchy Crafts".

I think I confused a few people because I wasn't on the Little Bits Stall. Talk about flat out! And wayyyy too much nice stuff but Paperific rarely disappoints!. Sooo many nice people to meet and catch up with!

Off tomorrow, we might go take the boys somewhere before the 40th I have to go to tomorrow night.

Sunday back to the show and pack up.

So no crafting for me this weekend, very sad. One thing was good to hear today. I inspired an idea in someone with my Darkroom Door ATC and they made a beauitful card with a few changes.

Thanks for looking.  Nite

Quick uploads

This was for my sister in law's wedding. The image was a digi image and I made my own background with the gold script. Papers were Stampin up.

This one is Sweet Pea stamps, of course.

This set is a Technique Tuesday set I think. I needed a little boys' card.

How do you like this little guy. Stamp by Art Impression, Papers by Bo Bunny I think. He was coloured with copics.

Thanks for looking.

Promised ATC's

As promised here are a couple of my recent ATC's. I have just joined this group and it has been fun.
This was my first ever ATC. Stamp is a Darkroom Door Full Bloom Vol 1

I created the background by scrunching up wax paper and ironing it onto the cardstock. You then apply ink and there you go! Looks awesome doesn't it!! I was mighty proud of my first ATC.

February was Ribbon- this, I had trouble with and my first idea completely failed. It was going to take too long and cost way too much. My beautiful friend came up with an idea, which left her ribbon ATC totally in the dark! ;/ Sorry Kath!

So with her help this is what happened.

Ribbon is the webbing. Lady bird is from Aussie Scrappers- I think.

Thanks for looking.

Not another Tria card...

Today another upload of Feb Tria image. Next month  I will pay attention to who made the image.

At first thought I thought Oh My Gosh whose bright idea was this image but it really was lovely and pretty easy to colour.

At a recent all nighter at Little Bits shop in Keysborough I was shown this shadow box card and she was lovely enough to show us how to do it.

I love this card at the moment and my brother turned 40 this month as well so I decided to do another for him this time. Mens cards are soo hard and my brother is really hard to make for as well.
 What do you think?

Stamps are Darkroom Door- Dashing Gents and String Sentiment set. Stamped in Early Espresso and onto Crumb Cake cardstock.

Bye bye Summer

Summer has flown by hasn't it...

As the trackie pants come out of hiding there is a definate plus. My upstairs is no longer too hot to play in my room!

I for one has certainly had some fun times with the kids and family and friends this yr.
I will also be rearranging my craft time, as I have just accepted more hrs at work, which is going to be exhausting and fun all at the same time. My Thursday at home will now be known as Wednesday before I have to go get the kids!

I have had a few fun times in my room lately. Every month a few friends and I get together at a local shop and we are given an image to colour. Some of the members have Tria pens and others have Copics. I personally love Copics and I'm on a mission to convert all the Tria members. Lol- not really.

This month we were given some little flowers and we had to mount them up and colour.
This is quite a big image really. I didn't want to do too much with it.

I cut out a frame from some Graphics 45 papers I had left over from some ATC's, which I will post some one day. I cut the papers slightly smaller than the card base as you would with a mat and then cut out a frame. Raised up the mat and had the image on the base, so the mat framed it. Some little bling on two corners and that is all.

I'm not sure whose image it was, as I was not there at Tria that day.

Here is a closer look that the image.Flowers are dimensional as is a few of the leaves.

Soon I hope to show you some of the ATC's I have been doing. Including my first one ever. I was quite happy with it, althou some out there took great delight in teasing me with it. I'll get them back... they have a birthday coming up. mwah ha ha....

Thanks for looking. Take care.
