Carved Leaves

Hi all,

Welcome back.

Today's card is using Darkroom Door Carved Leaves Vol 1.

I started with a different ink but changed it to a lighter one, which was much better. The darker ink was Pear Pizzazz by Stampin Up. It was just too dark for what I wanted.

I included hand drawn leaves to fill in the background.

Ingredients
Stamped with Shabby Shutters distress ink not oxide. I wanted the texture.
Prismacolour pencils
941, 911, 1090, 912
Black paint.

I used MFT Many Thanks die. It is an older die but any word die would be prefect. I cut out 3 in black, to go behind the main panel and 1 out of the coloured piece.

I finish it off I used Taylored Expressions Simple Strips. This is a brilliant stamp and die set. Truely must have.

This one is using slightly darker ink to start with.

You can find a video here showing how I did everything.

Thanks for stopping by.

Brighter Days

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well.

Today's card is an old stamp but I'm trying to use things so I don't have the shame of an unused stamp that I had to have and then it sat unused.

It is a super cute image and I saw on Instagram someone made a rainbow bubbles. I thought it was Loshakeratoalberto but I couldn't find it. So not my idea but my choice of colours and my colouring.

Copic Used were:
Dragon: G29, G46, G43
E47, E43, E41
Mushroom R29, R27, R24
W4, W1, W0

Bubbles:
B0000, B000
RV000, RV02
BG10, BG13
V01, V05
R05, R02
Y00, Y02

I wanted to add texture to the Dragon so using some Isocol Rubbing Alcohol I applied it to a cloth and dabbed it over the Dragon before I coloured anything else. You need to do this otherwise your mushroom and everything will have the same texture.

The sentiment is from a stampin Up set called "Weather together"
I used a white Gel pen to settle some of the colours in the bubbles. Also to hide an over zealous copic marker

Cardstock to matt the image was So Saffron by Stampin Up.

You can find a video here.

Thanks for stopping in.

Thursday in isolation

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a card for you that I made a couple of weeks ago.

I went to make another with a video but.... I didn't like it at all! I tried to add less dimension but it really didn't work. So this is what you get! lol

Copics used were:
Pots: E19, E17, E13
W7, W5, W3, W1
Plants: YG67, YG17, YG13
Stampin Up old Neutrals Pack- Retired sorry but I need to use it up and you can use any papers that work nicely with the colours you have picked to colour.

Dies used were Uniquely Creative Cross Stitched Circles. They are really good as they cut out the inner circle you can use for another card with the cross stitched detail on them.

Thank you for stopping by.

Sending You Love

I LOVE this card! I will definitely say that.

I have seen lots of people using coloured pencils over Copics.

I think I need to have more of a play with this because I just love the effect. Such strong contrast!

Copics Used
R39, R37, R35, R32
Pencils PC901, PC937, PC925
BG96, G94, G24
Momento Tuxedo Black

My local Craft shop has had someone make some stencils. You can contact them here.
I used Distress Oxide Pumice Stone with the stencil.

The stamp set is from Uniquely Creative Sending Love. After using my Brother Scan and cut I used Distress Marker Black Soot to go around the edge from the back to just finish off the image.

The sentiment is just from the stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed it, I really loved making it for you.

Take care, thank you for stopping by.
