Short and Sweet...

Quick card today. I have a friend whose daughter I call "Hippo"

Odd name I know but with a very logically explanation and she loves it and calls me "Mrs Hippo"

You see her shoes one year at school were coming away from the base. Her shoes being of a girls shoe but a square toe area but was slightly rounded.

I made the comment her shoes look like the game "Hungry, hungry Hippo!" Well it was on after that! Of course, I would never call her that usually but she knows it was directed to her shoes and she loves it. I made this card for you using Paper Rose 'Hippo Bird' stamp set

Short and sweet today, just to share a CAS card. Thanks for stopping by.

Animal fun

Taylored Expression's Birthday Buddies stamp set is soooo cute!.

Over a couple of days I coloured some super cute little images with my Copics for The 30day Coloring Challenge.
I then had to figure out what I was going to do with them! Thankfully the creative juices started.

R11
E21, E30
100, C9, C7, C5, C4, C2, C0 (not all C's were used on the same spot! lol)
Dog-R85, R83, R81, R22
E57, E55, E53, E50
C9, C1

Elephant-G94, YG63, G21
V28, V25, V22, V20
B95, B93, B91
T4, T2, T0
R22, R11

Monkey-E47, E44, E42
R11 R22
BG10, B00
C1, C0

The poles are freehand. I decided to make the sentiment into a banner. I curved it on my MISTI and tried to make sure it is straight. Drew the poles and connected the 'banner' to the poles.
I used E57, E55 and E53 for the banner.
I decided I needed a couple more balloons. I masked out the dog's balloon and there is a rabbit in the stamp set that had a different balloon, so I masked him out too and drew on the string. The extra balloon colours are the same Violets and the monkey's balloon with an extra bit of B02 for more depth.

Thanks for stopping by.

I'm addicted!!

I jumped on the wagon for The 30 day colouring (Aussie spelling- not wrong lol) challenge. I'm loving it although I was late to get going. School is back and there was too much on! Kids need this signed or sport for the year to paid for or something bought and the list goes on. Such is life really.

I do like it as you don't need to colour anything massive if you don't have time. I caught up colouring small little flowers from a stamp set by Stampin Up.

The stamp set I used was "In Every Season". It is a new set in this catalogue. Check out my Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/natalieperrywalsh/?hl=en for photos of the flowers that are abit closer.
I used Kaisercraft pencils I thought I used Prismacolor pencils but that was the one before! lol I coloured it over a couple of days so unfortunately I don't know exactly what I used.

I had the idea to just group them all together and, of course, had enough for 2 cards so was brilliant.
A friend of mine is having a birthday today so I had to wait for her to see her card before posting as I know she follows me on Instagram. I'm really loving how they turned out!

Next card... I told you I have been waiting to show you that card! lol

Yesterday I coloured some images from Leonie Pujol called "Beautiful Bloom"  which I bought I think last year but had yet to crack it open.

I coloured it with Copics and stamped sentiment from Dina Wakley called Handwritten Sentiments. I love this set.

The Colours I used were:
YG03, YG93, YG95
Y21, Y23, YR21, YR42
R00, RV11, BV20
B00, B000, B0000
Cardstock Balmy Blue from Stampin Up

I have actually decided I'm going to find a container and put a few stamp sets of different sentiments that I have either new or haven't used much. To try to just use those and later swap them out. I tend to just use certain stamps for things and I need to branch out. I don't particularly like lots of things on my desk but I think this will be useful.

What do you think??

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Mandala Fun

My little man is back from camp. Tired but thank goodness he had a great time. I sort of talked him into going so I was hoping with everything that he had a good time. They were one of the lucky ones to get a cabin and even had a small balcony! Soo cool!

Moving on.... One of my oldest friends is getting married next month. Soo excited except.... I have to do a speech!! UGH! I am the matron of (dis)honour! lol But seriously what am I going to say!!! I do not want to put them to sleep!!

Off topic... card!

I bought this stamp from a buy swap and sell! It is soo pretty, might take abit of time to get use to lining it all up but it is soo nice.
The stamp set I used was Many Mandala by Concord and 9th. Even the sentiment was from that stamp set. I have gold embossed it and then coloured it with Prismacolor pencils.
I used PC912, PC 932 and PC 1027. I wanted to keep it very simple and used them to blend abit.
I do hope you have a wonderful day. Thankyou for stopping by.

Feb CAS challenge

Today I have February's CAS challenge from the blog. You can find the blog at https://caschristmascardchallenge.blogspot.com/.

This month the challenge was to use 'Peace' on your card. Where, How was up to you! Just had to be clean and simple. My last card I think didn't quite fit the requirements. To me it was CAS but ... never mind. No ribbon or lots of bling or mats but I'm not stressed! lol

Just have to keep practicing!! If I must, I'll force myself to spend more time in my room!

This one surely fits in right!?? ha ha

Wet embossed Stamping Up Carols of Christmas with Gold Embossing powder and ran it thru Couture Creations 5x7 Grunge Frame Embossing Folder. Highlight with Gold Stickles and wham bam Thankyou Mam!

Surely it fits the clean and simple...... right?? :)

I love this embossing folder, I really don't use them enough really!

Anyway I'm off to do more of my 'punishment' time in my room and work on my 30 day coloring challenge image. I'm behind in that... oops!

Have a wonderful day and thankyou for stopping in!

House to myself... with the rest of the family.

My baby went off to camp today. It is the first time he has gone off to camp after being soo ill. I also had to send just in case medication too. Shouldn't have to use it but you never know really! I just really hope he has a great time and bonds with some friends. New school (big high school boy now) and they do camp the second week to help them bond and such.

Family has also gone home, school has gone back.... it does mean I am back to work but I also get some days to myself. So hopefully as things get caught up with and things are back to a .... normal.... ( is there such a thing??) I will be back to crafting soon.

Anyway... today I have a sweet little card. I coloured this card during the last 30 day coloring challenge with The Daily Marker and I have only just put it together.

I have coloured it with Copics. The circles are an Altenew stamp set called Halftone Circles. Someone made me a card for my birthday back in Dec with this set and I loved it! I had to buy it.
I used Stampin Up's Bermuda Bay ink to stamp the circles. Stay tuned for some more cards with this Halftone stamp set.
Anyway, short and sweet today. I will be catching up on the next round of 30 day coloring challenge that started this month. Already running behind!

Thanks for stopping by!
