Hero Arts Celebrate | For the Love of Everything Green

Hi All,

Do you like green? Many years ago I had a boss who would never use anything that was green. It was some ...30 odd years ago. I think it was something regarding superstition...like lucky socks for a sports player or something. I didn't get it but it didn't concern me soo I didn't care. haha I did however think of them when I made my card.

 Now I dropped my marker on my image. You can still see it but if you didn't know it isn't as noticeable. To get around the mistake, after using the o marker on it. It didn't completely disappear but it is harder to see when you don't know it is there.

Paper Rose Perfect Pairs Paper Collection | Scraps

Hi All, 

Today's card is using products from Paper Rose.

 

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8) 

After my first card using the Perfect Pairs collection I had alot of little pieces of paper. This card is purely made up of those papers.

Strips of paper were cut at 1.3cm wide and vary in length.

I used the So Extra Black 1.0 sentiment pack as these cards were a last minute sub-in and now discontinued. So I have linked the All Occasions Sentiment 22339 set which really is the set I mostly used. I had the So Extra on a retreat to use up.

This card is a mix of scraps and cut pieces. Glued down after working out a nice composition of colours.

 

 

 

Main panel is cut at 8.5cm x 13.5cm adhere to the far right edge. Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches aren't a big thing here in Australia but the image was soo cute and in the So Extra pack there was a perfect sentiment of "Hands Down, best ever" I personally have never tried it but it was soo cute I couldn't help myself. :)

Moving Along With The Times | Floral

Hi All, 

Today's card is using products from Altenew. This month's theme is "Floral" on the blog Moving Along With The Times and who else does floral better than Altenew.

 

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8) 

Feature Panel Size 9.3 x 13.7cm (3 5/8 x 5 3/8)

I stamped and used 3 flower images and cut off any areas that were coming off the edge of the cardstock. These pieces were used to fill in other areas of the card panel. All flowers were raised up with foam tape. The sentiment shadow was cut out 3 times and layered up to give more dimension as it would of been much harder to apply foam tape and still have it higher than the flowers again.
