This card is another simple fun fold. You need 3 pieces of cardstock and 3 pieces of designer papers. Then whatever you are going to embellish your card with, I used Embossed Die Cuts are the coordinating Tags and Tickets pack.
This card is called an Overlapping Fun Fold.
Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)
You will need:
White Cardstock
(1) 10.5 x 14.9cm Card Base
(1) 10 x 11cm Left Flap - you will need to score this on the 10cm side at 1.3cm or 1/2"
(1) 9 x 10cm Right Flap - you will need to score this on the 9cm side at 1.3cm or 1/2"
Designer Papers
(1) 10 x 14.1cm for card base
(1) 8.2 x 10.6cm for left flap
(1) 7.2 x 9.5cm for the right flap
Embossed Die cuts or other things to decorate your panels.
I thought about adhering the card base designer pattern onto a top folding card base as how I have done the card it can not stand by itself but I wanted you to open the flaps and see a written greeting instead of written on another flap. However it is an option.
Unlike in the video the best way to adhere the flaps is onto the back designer paper before you adhere it to the card base. Holding the left hand flap apply glue to the tab and adhere it to the back of the designer paper making sure the flap folds over the front easily. If you adhere the score line to the back, it won't fold.
The right hand side flap is glue to the right side but this time you want the flap to sit, once folded, so it is a little higher than the left flap but it isn't a hard rule. We want this to be fun not stressful.
Adhere the papers to each panel and decorate as you wish. That's it!!

Pattern Paper for Australian Card Bases
Front Panel I used the largest nesting AUS Die which is 9.6 x 13.9cm
Inside Matt 10.1 x 11.3cm
Voucher spot 7.4 x 9.7cm
Back Strip 2.4 x 10.2cm
You are going to build your card from the back.
Take the square card base and glue it flat against the bottom of the card front, making sure the fold is at the top and it will sit about an inch from the top of the card base. It should open upwards.
Next apply glue to the tab on the voucher mechanism. Glue this at the top in the inch that we left at the top above the square card. Glue it flush to the edge of the cardstock.
Open the mechanism so you can work on the square card base. Now note we have not turned anything over we have just lift the voucher mechanism up.
Apply a thin layer of glue to each of the tabs on the slider guide and glue it to the bottom of the square card back. This means you can easily run cardstock thru the guider. Give this enough time to adhere before moving to the next part.
The hardest is sliding the voucher mechanism thru the guider. Good thing about it is that you only have to do this one time. It isn't really hard just fiddly.
Decorate as you wish.
There is a few ways to adhere the voucher. You can make slits using your cutter or there is some punches out there that make slits but I think simple temporary tape runner works really well.
Xpress-it in Australia has one i know. I actually saw it in Officeworks today.
Temporary Tape Runner - Aussie Peeps other companies sell it too. USA Also Tombow Liquid glue if you apply it and leave it for a while then apply your voucher becomes temporary. I just find tape runners easier but don't buy something if you have the tombow liquid... or can cos you are big people. :)

Today's card is using products from Paper Rose Studio
Card Size 10.7cm x 15.3cm (4 1/4" x 6")
Card Base 21cm x 15.3cm (8 1/4" x 6")
You will need 1 piece of patterned paper at
11cm x 7cm (4 5/16 x 2 3/4")
Next you will need 2 squares of coordinating paper measuring
7cm x 7cm ( 2 3/4 x 2 3/4")
Using a score board with the long edge along the top score at 3" (makes it easily to use inches with fun folds)
Rotate the cardstock to have the 6" edge along the top and score it again at 3".
This leaves you with 2 squares areas and 2 rectangles. Make sure the squares are on the left. Grab a pencil and make a mark at the 5 1/8" along the top edge. I just made a little dot and used a ruler to make the same mark on the bottom edge. I place the straight edge of the ruler flat against the top at the 5 1/8 and use the bottom of the ruler to do the same on the bottom.
Next we are going to make a mark on the center fold. I use the ruler again and place the edge flat against the top but this time at the 3 3/4 mark and make a dot on the centre line.
Remove the cardstock from the score board and use your ruler to score from the edge into the centre on both edges making a ^ shape. Check out the video if you need more support.
Fold the (2) 3" score lines into mountains which means you fold it away from you and fold is coming up.
Gently use a bone folder on the ^ to make a valley fold, meaning the cardstock edges are coming towards you. Fold going down. Fold the card up using these folds, once you ease the valley folds into place it should be fairly easy.
Now, to score this you need a photo of the template I made, it isn't too hard just hard to explain without it.
Cardstock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
So... With the 5 1/2" side at the top use a ruler to mark 3" move the ruler down a few inches and mark 3" again, this doesn't have to be at the top and bottom.
Turn the card so you have the 8 1/2" along the top. Line the ruler up on the dots you just made and mark 1" and again at 6 1/2. Draw a line from the 1" to the 6 1/2" along the 3" line. Use a craft knife ( can't think what you America Peeps call it...Utility knife...?) and make a slit along the drawn line.
One side of the line will be 3" and the other is 2 1/2". On the 3" side score at 4 1/4 JUST to the line.
On the 2 1/2" side score JUST to the line at 1", 2", 3 1/4, 4 1/2 and 6 1/2. Again just to the line.
The 4 1/4" side is a mountain fold ( goes up). The 1" score line is a mountain, next valley, mountain, valley and mountain. Check out the video if you need help.
I did place another floral element under the Koala in a branch. You can't see it when looking at the card from the front but can, clearly, when moving it around and it was annoying me :D.
Score the white cardstock (that is 10" x 4") as valley, mountain and valley folds. (Valleys go down and mountains go up or you can check out the video for help.
Before you apply the white cardstock decorate the inside of the card base.
To apply fold up the cardstock and apply glue to one side and position it where you want. I found it easier to first hold it in place to see where you would like to place it. It doesn't have to be perfect.
Decorate with the designer pattern to your choosing. On one panel I cut a small rectangle of white cardstock with a matt of vellum. This is the panel I plan to write on.

For this card you need a card base that is top folding. After folding this in half, score one side at 5". You will then score from the top left from the 5" score line down to the bottom right
Apply glue to the on the little panel that you made from the centre fold to the 5" score line. This is the little panel below that is blue and flat.
For your patterned paper you will need :
1.5cm x 10.1cm (1 of those)
10cm x 12cm (you need 2 of these)
One of you 10 x 12 pieces you will apply whole to the inside of the card. You can see that below, diagonal stripe pattern. The other piece you need to cut diagonally in half from the top left to the bottom right.
TIP : If you cut the pattern paper to size leaving a border and THEN cut it diagonally you will have a lovely border around both pieces.

Another super simple card and I am using the beautiful Petals & Pansies Collection
On the front of a top folding Australian Card base ( half of an A4 sheet) make a mark on the front panel at 2.5cm and again at 8cm or 1" and 3 1/8". You need to mark this on the fold line and the bottom edge. Use a ruler and cut from the fold line to the bottom on the front panel only.
For the front papers, do what I say as I stuffed up a little in the video and I was lucky that the whole pattern still mostly looks the same and matches.
You need a sheet of your desired paper and cut it at 9.3 x 14.4
On the 9.3cm side, using a pencil and mark at 2.1cm and 7.2cm. Using a guillotine cut this apart. This will give you a beautiful continued design.
The trick with this card is to use die cuts that can be put together or are wide enough to extend from the 2 panels on the far left and right side of the card. My chair does but I still added the little flowers so my chair would be off set slightly.

I really enjoy fun fold card and this one is quite simple. You can use a straight forward A6 (Aus) card base, folded in half and then the front is folded in half again. I will give you all the measurements for the card.
Card Base 14.8 x 21 scored on the 21cm side at 5.2 and 10.5. Easier to just half the base in half and one panel in half again.
Designer pattern (DP)

Along the 7.7 cm side score at 2cm, 3.8 and 5.7, but I find it easier to do scoring on a score board which most are in inches so, score at 3/4, 1 1/2 and 2 1/4"
This needs to be folded to form a cube. Fold this flat with the 2 cut edges touching each other (if you turn it over you will have a single folded line). Apply glue on the panels either side of the cut edges.
Turn it over and place it either side of the score line between the middle panel and back panel. The Score line should line up with the score line on the card base. Now if you slightly close the card this will make a platform.
The inside popped up panel with be glued on the top of the platform, making it pop up! :)
Fold the card up and apply glue to the very left side of the remaining panel. With the card closed you can position the panel centered using the inside panel. You can, of course, swap these panels and the smaller one will be hidden behind the larger one in front.
Decorate as you wish with the coordinating diecuts.
Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)
You will need an unscored top folding card base 29.5 x 10.5cm or 4 1/4 x 11". Scored this at 1" and 6 1/2" or if you want centimeters 2.5 and 16.2cm. In the end you will have a top folding card.
Cardstock (CS)
2.5cm x 10.5 (1" x 4 1/4") this is your easel stopper
4.5 x 13 (1 3/4 x 5 1/4") this is the stand
Designer Paper (DP)
10 x 13cm you will need 3 of these
2.2 x 10cm Stopper
4 x 12.7cm Stand, you will need 2 of these. One for the flap on the base card and one for the stopper.
Apply the DP on the stopper and with foam glue this onto the bottom of the card base, approximately 2cms from the bottom of the card. See photo below. You need to use low profile foam otherwise it gets too thick when closed.
Once the DP is applied to the stand you add 2 foam dots to the very top of the strip of cardstock. You want to position the bottom along the bottom of the card, when closed, and make sure the panel is roughly even to the top and right side of the flap. See photo above.
I have used the Vintage Label 1 die and applied glue just to the far right side, as to fix this to the stand.
This card is actually pretty simple to put together.
For the card base all you need is cardstock measuring 5 1/2 x 10 3/4. Along the 10 3/4 side score at 1 5/8,3 1/4, 7 1/2 and 9 1/8
Fold this as M (mountain), V (valley), V and M making a sort of upside down table. See photo below.
That is it, you will make the interlocking part using paper and your focal element.
The centre panel is a piece of patterned paper cut at 4" x 5 1/4
Smaller Rectangle
White rectangle 2 1/4 x 3 1/4
Matt - I used patterned paper 2 3/8 x 3 3/8
Larger rectangle
White 2 3/4 x 3 3/4
Matt- again I used patterned paper 2 7/8 x 3 7/8
With the larger rectangle I worked out where I wanted to place it at the top of the cardstock. You need to make sure it is centered top and to the left but COVERING the paper at the back. This will overlap onto the right hand panel. You only want to glue the left, otherwise you will not be able to open the card.
The smaller panel is slightly trickier. Cut some foam so it is smaller than the smaller rectangle. Work out where you wish to have your panel. You want to place the foam against the larger panel but on the right hand side. So when closed the larger rectangle will butt up against it, like a stopper really. Place your smaller rectangles in position. This will make sure you the larger rectangle will sit nicely under the other. (How many times can I say rectangles...?)
Decorate as you wish. I decided my panels needed a little something so I sponged some Pumice Stone softly through the Halftone Hearts Stencil.
The sentiment is mounted with some foam and only from the "N" onwards. This will give it a nice Illusion.
All of the diecuts are raised up with foam as well.
Finish off with some Clear Crystals to bring everything together.
Card Size Aus A6 which is 15.3 x 18.4cm (6 x 7 1/4)
You will need 2 pieces of cardstock both measuring 6 x 11.
One piece score on the 11" side at 7 1/4
The other you need to score on the 11" side at 1/2, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 6 1/2, 7 1/2, 8 1/2, 9 1/2 and 10 1/2. You need to fold them firstly in half, going back to one side fold it M (Mountain), M, M, V and then do the same on the other side. You should have a box shape on the very end then a V and going up to the "M" shape. see photo below. Glue only the end 1/2 tabs to form your "box shape" on the ends.
Fold it flat making sure the two boxes are each in half. Before adhering this piece you will need to glue your patterned paper. I have 6x6 papers so I have cut about 2 and a half inches from the left to make sure the paper will stretch the whole distance to the fold line.
Apply glue only on the panels of the boxes ( where my thumb is in the above photo), not on the flat side ( where my fingers are)
Only apply glue on the panels shown below.
While keeping the panel flat adhere the cubed piece onto the base card leaving about 1/4" from the left side. See photos below.

I originally came across another version of this card from Dawn Griffin but I made a few changes.
I have used 3 pieces of patterned paper as I don't have a lot of 12x12 paper. However if you wish to use a larger piece you will need one that measures 13 x 25 cm. Along the 25cm edge score it at 8,11 and 14cm
The card base is a standard Australian card folded in half.
If you are using 6x6 paper collection you will need:
8cm x 13cm (x3)
Take one and score it on the 8cm side at 1cm, 4cm and 7cm. This will form our middle panel. Fold this to make a unusually W shape. Adhere one of the other pieces to the small tab on the left side. With the remaining piece, measure down the right hand side at 6cm. Use a cutter or ruler and trim off from the top left side down to the mark on the right side and this will be the holder for the gift card.
On the middle panel cut a slit on the tab (small panel on the right side) so you do not see the diagonal panel we just cut when you adhere the holder. Glue the diagonal panel to the tab on the right hand side.
To add this to your card, apply glue to the far left panel and place this in the middle of your card base on the left side. Fold your patterned paper closed. Being careful to only apply glue around the edges so you still have a pocket for your gift card and not along the top edge and then close the back of the card up. Allow to dry. Decorate as you wish.
