New Designer Craft Addiction UK | Cottontail

Hi All, 

 Today's card is using products from Craft Addiction UK. 

My friend Louise Dunne has made her first stamp set and it is super cute. Louise and I were on a Design Team together and when I went to Europe last year we had to meet. She sent me this set but unfortunately due to the postal system... somewhere it was late for the release so I'm playing catch up.

Paper Rose Clear Crystal Mix 19499 

 

This background die is the postage die from Gummiapan however, I decided I just wanted the inverted  scallop on one side. I have left the stitching detail on all edges. 

 

A fairly clean and simple design with a little texture on the bunnies, this was made using small very light flicks. Darker colours in areas where there would be shadow and placed close together and slowly getting less and less. If you want a video of this technique let me know.

I went a little bit different with this one. A fairly simple cards. I decided not to go for a sentiment, I just thought it wasn't needed.

On the balloon I used the darkest colours on the bottom of the stencil, this being Tangerine, Grape and Poppy. Then blended them with the lighter corresponding colours.

I finished the balloons off with a Multi liner and connected them to his hands.
