Moving Along With The Times | Floral

Hi All,

Today's card is using products from Altenew. This month's theme is "Floral" on the blog Moving Along With The Times and who else does floral better than Altenew.

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)
Feature Panel Size 9.3 x 13.7cm (3 5/8 x 5 3/8)
Matt 10 x 14.4cm (3 7/8 x 5 9/16)

Product List Below

Leaves - Moss
Flower Centres - Paper Bag

I stamped and used 3 flower images and cut off any areas that were coming off the edge of the cardstock. These pieces were used to fill in other areas of the card panel. All flowers were raised up with foam tape. The sentiment shadow was cut out 3 times and layered up to give more dimension as it would of been much harder to apply foam tape and still have it higher than the flowers again.

I hope you join in on this months challenge. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Thank you for your time.

Altenew Build a Garden Kit November 2025 | Hellebore Haven

Hi All,

Today's card is using products from Altenew

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)
Feature Panel Size 8.8 x 13.2cm (3 1/2 x 5 3/16)

I finally pulled out my Altenew Sticky Mat .... why did I leave it soo long?? Probably due to the sale of the house and move. Let's blame that! I mean the stencil is only slightly larger than the mat but it was really helpful!

After embossing the Peacock cardstock with the beautiful Cross Weaves folder I gently swiped the Aged Brass Wax over the top. Go light handed as you can always add but can't remove so well. I added over so softly some of the wax to the centre of the flowers but very very lightly.

I positioned the Hellebore at the top and trimmed off any overflowing flowers and tucked them under the top image. The top image is doubled over foam and the next are either single or glued flat.

Because I was un-wanting to get out of my chair ( I am really low at the moment in vitamin D so energy is low, I have started tablets so I will be up and running soon!) and find my gold cardstock I used versamark and gold embossing powder on white cardstock, dipping it 2 times so it was nice and thick.

Product List Below
