Today's card is using products from Paper Rose Studio
Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.6cm (4 1/8 x 5 3/4)
Base Card
14.8cm x 17.5cm Score on the long edge at 4,8,12 and 16cm
Fold these all back onto each other as to form a prism. Apply glue to the small panel. Lay the cardstock flat with the join in the middle at the back. You want the fold down the middle at the front.
White cardstock for the front
3.5cm x 10.5cm (x4)
Matt
3cm x 10cm (x4)
Feature panel (Gingham)
2.5cm x 9.7cm (x4)
You can cut 2 more panels if you are using dark cardstock for the back to right on but I like to use white so this isn't a problem.
Adhere all your layers and use your grid mat to position these evenly on your base. The important thing to remember here is to adhere each piece in a zig zag manner. Meaning the top piece is glued to the left of the fold line and NOT over it. The next adhered to the right, next left and finally the right. This will mean your card when it is sitting upright will make a criss cross.
When you decorate you need something tall but not too wide and adhered it to the panels that will move forward. See photos. If your piece is too wide it will get damaged or not open properly.
