Moving Along With The Times | Floral

Hi All, 

Today's card is using products from Altenew. This month's theme is "Floral" and who else does florals better than Altenew.

 

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8) 

Feature Panel Size 9.3 x 13.7cm (3 5/8 x 5 3/8) 

Matt 10 x 14.4cm (3 7/8 x 5 9/16)

Altenew Serene Blooms and stencil set

Flowers - Plum, Grape Agate, Amethyst and Pale Mauve

Leaves - Moss 

Flower Centres - Paper Bag

 

Background - Caramel Toffee and Canyon Clay  

 

 

I stamped and used 3 flower images and cut off any areas that were coming off the edge of the cardstock. These pieces were used to fill in other areas of the card panel. All flowers were raised up with foam tape. The sentiment shadow was cut out 3 times and layered up to give more dimension as it would of been much harder to apply foam tape and still have it higher than the flowers again.

Altenew Level 3 AECP with Michelle Lupton

Hi All, 

Today's card is using products from Altenew

My friend Michelle Lupton, as part of the Altenew Level 3 Education Program, taught a free online class last weekend.

 

 

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8) 

I love both of the cards but I think this one is my fav!

Watercolour background, heat embossed on vellum and coloured using Copics

 For the second card we used coordinating stencils for a rainbow flower. It is a much softer flower.

It is hard to see in the photo we used an embossing folder to give added dimension. I used Altenews Ribbon Embossing Folder. Michelle had a much more geometric folder which I didn't have.

New Designer Craft Addiction UK | Cottontail

Hi All, 

 Today's card is using products from Craft Addiction UK. 

My friend Louise Dunne has made her first stamp set and it is super cute. Louise and I were on a Design Team together and when I went to Europe last year we had to meet. She sent me this set but unfortunately due to the postal system... somewhere it was late for the release so I'm playing catch up.

Paper Rose Clear Crystal Mix 19499 

 

This background die is the postage die from Gummiapan however, I decided I just wanted the inverted  scallop on one side. I have left the stitching detail on all edges. 

 

A fairly clean and simple design with a little texture on the bunnies, this was made using small very light flicks. Darker colours in areas where there would be shadow and placed close together and slowly getting less and less. If you want a video of this technique let me know.

Pixi Dust Designs Magic World | Valentines Card

Hi All, 

Today's card is using products from Pixi Dust Designs

 

This card is made super easy with the etched lines that were left when you cut out all the pieces.They show where to place most of the elements. Simply a matter of adding the ink, if you wish, adhering the pieces and you can use the packaging if you have any questions. I inked around most of the pieces with a variety of ink, listed below. A little more ink on the wavy lined paper.

I masked off bottom of the sentiment with post it notes,  I stamped the "You put a spell on me" on the banner and the last part of the sentiment on the inked panel and sealed it with clear embossing powder as the paper has a beautiful semi gloss. The embossing will prevent it smudging.

Hero Arts October 2024 Kit

Hi All, 

Today's card is using products from 

 

Card Size Aus A6 which is 10.5 x 14.9cm (4 1/8 x 5 7/8)

In the kit you had ... almost like tissue paper but they had a backing you pull off to adhere, Yes, I cut all the leaves out that you see here. A little tedious for sure but it didn't take a long time. I wanted a cascade  of falling leaves on the left hand side.
