Fusion Car Challenge 15th Sept | Front Porch|

 It’s a new fortnight over on the Fusion Card Challenge Blog. 

This week I went with the photo for inspiration. There is some older stamps in this one and honestly, as a member of design teams and having to use current things, it is fun to pull out some oldies but goodies! I always loved my Magnolia stamps. They aren’t for everyone and that is fine but I love them and I encourage you to play with your older stamps sometimes.

Fusion Card Challenge | Pinwheels

 

 

It's that time of the month again. A new fortnight means a new challenge.

 

 I had one of those moments where it is ..."do what I say not what I do!" But I fixed it! You will have to watch the video to see what happened.

Fusion Card Challenge - Colour Palette: Seagull Beach

 Another fortnight and the new Fusion card challenge is live.

The Rules of the game are:

You can play with the sketch

Today I took a little bit of the sketch  with the curve and a bit of the colour combination with the soft pastel colours.

I took the Sweet Rainbow die and cut each arch out of soft pastel card-stock. The hearts and the clouds was cut out of white. I coloured the hearts with RV95.

For ease of adding them onto the card I added the pieces on a scrap piece of card-stock. This allowed me to space them correctly without too much stress and trimmed it out. I added a small panel on paper from Rainbow Poppies paper pad that was the width of the rainbow. The sentiment is from the All Occasion pack and the hearts came out the Sweet Rainbow Die set. 

 

The finally steps were to add glossy accent onto the hearts and some wink of Stella to every alternative arch.

Fusion Card Challenge 7th of July - Hello Hat

 It is that time of the month. Every 2 weeks there is a new Fusion Card Challenge.

 

 

You can use the sketch or you can use the inspiration image OR you can use both and fuse them together.

 

I went with the photo this week. I didn't have a 'Hello" stamp that I thought was acceptable so I used a 'Congrats' stamp.

The stamp is an older one and all I know is it is called "Beautiful Inside and Out"

Congrats is from the same set.

Fusion Card Challenge

 Recipe:

Very, very simple today.

PaperRose Studio Native Garden 6 x 6 Paper Pad

 Everything paper related was all out of the Native Garden Paper Pad. The Pink circle at the back is hand cut after I traced it using my glue dots that I had. Centre circle is die cut.

The Paper in the background was just fussy cut from a sheet that had a arrangement down one side. "Hello" and " Happiness right here" are all from the pad. Arrange to match the sketch and add some stickles on the flowers with the odd dot here and there.

I hope you play along. It would be awesome to see your designs.

I stamped the Bunnies on  PaperRose Winter Stroll and cut all those little babies out! I stamped the hat 2 times on white cardstock and stacked them together. Finally coloured it with Copics.

 

I gave the little bunnies a little bit of shadow (with N2 and N0) and pink in their ears and some of them on their belllies.

All the strips and circle are from PaperRose Winter Stroll Paper Pad.

Fusion card Challenge 3rd March Turquoise Rose Bouquet

 There is a new Fusion Card Challenge live.

Todays challenge is Turquoise Rose Garden. If you don’t know the Fusion Card Challenge, you are given a sketch and an inspiration photo. You can use one or the other OR Fuse them together. 

I took the flowers and the sketch but I changed the sketch around slightly by making the rectangle in the middle into an oval. I decided against the colour so I’m rebelling! Lol

Now, during Covid I was suppose be involved with a Suicide Awareness Blog Hop. Unfortunately I didn’t get my toys to play with until AFTER the blog was live! I felt really bad. So this is my card.
